Camp Agape California is privileged to work with the children of Incarcerated parents and to help prepare the children for the eventual release and reunion with their parents from prison. The Camp Agape California is all about restoring hope, facilitating inner healing, and helping connect families to the resources that are available within our local Communities.

There are a multitude of generous Community resources that can help with the immediate needs of the Children and their families. Thanks to our incredible partners at YMCA CARES we have compiled a list of just some of the resources that are available to families at little or cost to them.

The Assistance Leagues of provide a wide variety of resources to the local communities from Tutoring, low or no cost dental care, Scholarships, Educational services for Kids K-12, Free or reduced fee Lunch programs, Emergency Assistance, school supplies and more. The Diocese of Orange provides restorative justice resources and referrals like Employment for Ex-Offenders, Family support services, Food, Gang Outreach, Legal help, recovery Post release and re-entry assistance, shelter, housing, and Trauma intervention and victim assistance. Financial and other types of material assistance is available from one of the Society conferences which operates in a local Catholic parish. American Family Living provides excellent family support services to help equip families with the tools they need to move in areas of healthy communication, parenting, marriage strength and they also provide counseling services. Onesimus Mentoring is committed to transition and integration of prisoners back into society. Just before a prisoner is released, these men and women can ask to be connected with a mentor who can come alongside them upon their release for guidance and encouragement. Starting over and changing one’s life can be challenging, but no one needs to do it alone. Onesimus Mentoring provides the support that helps facilitate a healthy transition of prisoners back into society.
